The festival typically features a variety of Halloween-themed activities, such as a scarecrow display, haunted houses and live entertainment. Some of the park’s rides and attractions are open during the event, including roller coasters and other thrill rides. The event usually takes place in October, featuring special decorations, costumed characters, and other spooky elements throughout the park.

The Thomas Town train ride at Kennywood Park is based on the popular children’s television show “Thomas & Friends”. The ride is a train-themed attraction where visitors can ride in replica trains of the beloved character Thomas the Tank Engine. The train ride is suitable for young children and families and offers a scenic tour of part of the park and views of Braddock, PA. It is an indoor/outdoor ride and offers an relaxing and interactive experience for riders.

The company was founded in 1969 and is known for its strong technique and emotional performances. The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre rehearses at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Studios, located at 2900 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. This location serves as the company’s primary rehearsal space and is equipped with multiple studios, including a state-of-the-art, 1,800 square-foot studio with a sprung floor, as well as a costume and scene shop. The studios are also home to the PBT School, which provides training to aspiring dancers of all ages.

Thrival Festival is an annual music and arts festival that takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. The festival was held at Carrie Furnace, a former steel-making facility that is now a National Historic Landmark. Thrival Festival included live music on multiple stages, interactive art installations, food trucks, and other activities.

Wiz Khalifa headlined a night of the two-day festival while Stage 2 was headlined by Carnage and Griz. I also had the pleasure of seeing beatmaster extraordinaire, TOKiMONSTA. She is known for her unique blend of electronic, hip-hop, and soulful music, and is considered one of the most innovative and influential female producers in the electronic music scene for over a decade.

The location at Carrie Furnace also added a unique and interesting aspect to the festival experience.
